Assistant Principals

Mr. Pirrocco is excited to begin his second year as an Assistant Principal at Stroudsburg Middle School!  He came to us from Schuylkill Valley Middle School where he was a Health, Physical Education, and Aquatics teacher for the past 9 school years. Mr. Pirrocco also was a high school swim coach for many years and most recently was the Head Coach at Southern Lehigh High School for the last 4 seasons.  He attended East Stroudsburg University for his undergraduate degree and his Master's in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University.  Mr. Pirrocco enjoys being outdoors during warm weather and anything to do with the water. 

Mrs. Thompson is in her sixteenth year in the Stroudsburg Area School District and is excited for her second year as an Assistant Principal at Stroudsburg Middle School.  She has taught at Hamilton Elementary and Chipperfield Elementary in elementary education, special education, and most recently as a reading specialist. Mrs. Thompson has lived in East Stroudsburg for 30 years and received her undergraduate degrees, Master’s in Education, and Master’s in Educational Leadership from East Stroudsburg University. Mrs. Thompson enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
