Technology Education
The purpose of the Stroudsburg Middle School Tech-Ed program is to introduce students to the vast world of technology. They will learn how to use basic hand tools as well as power tools to complete projects made from both metal and wood. These projects will demonstrate the students' ability to work with tools as well as their ability to carry out projects from beginning to end. The students will spend a great deal of time focusing on the technological problem solving method and applying the method to real world situations.Mr. Stephen Maurer
Mr. Maurer grew up outside Reading, PA and earned a B.S. degree in Education (Industrial Arts/Technology) from Millersville University. He has been teaching Technology Education in the Stroudsburg Area School District for eleven years. His specialty/area of study is Industrial Materials/Manufacturing. smaurer@sburg.org
Mr. Thiele teaches Technology Education 7th grade students.
