Ms. Biava is a 7th grade math teacher whose education began as an anthropology student at West Virginia University. Mrs. Mary Anne Constable
Mrs. Constable enjoys teaching 7th Grade Reading. She has her Master's Degree in Reading Education from ESU and her Bachelor's Degree in English /Secondary Education from Mansfield University. Mrs. Constable taught high school English at East Stroudsburg High School prior to teaching in the Stroudsburg Area School District. She and her husband have three children in the district. Mrs. Sara DiLauro
In 2002 Mrs. DiLauro embarked upon her journey as a seventh grade language arts instructor at the Stroudsburg Junior High School. After three years she moved to the new Stroudsburg Middle School where she continues to teach seventh grade language arts. Her BA in English was earned at East Stroudsburg University as was her Masters in Reading Instruction. She is certified in both secondary English and reading. In addition to her teaching she is a Spelling Bee Advisor, Summer Academy instructor, and After-school Program instructor.sdilauro@sburg.org
Mr. Shawn Flannery
Mr. Flannery is a graduate of Marywood College and Wilkes University where he received his Bachelors and Masters degrees respectively. He has been teaching Math to sixth, seventh and eighth grade students now for 19 years. He has two beautiful daughters, Madison and Delaney, and a wife who is also a teacher at Pocono Mountain School District. Mr. Evan Griswold
Mr. Griswold graduated from Hobart College in Upstate New York with a degree in English and a minor in theatre. He is the assistant varsity cross country coach and is in charge of the junior high cross country program. He also coaches 7th and 8th grade girls basketball. Mrs. Tara Hall
Mrs. Hall teaches 7th grade social studies. She has been working at Stroudsburg since 1998. She is a graduate of Bloomsburg University with and also has a masters degree in education. Mr. Chris Hedgelon
A SHS graduate (1991), Mr. Hedgelon earned a BS in biology from the University of Pittsburgh in 1996. He joined the SASD in 2006 as a 7th grade Life Science teacher. He is a member of the school SAP team and helps with both the varsity and junior high level cross country programs. He currently lives out on the West End of Monroe County with his wife, Kristin, and two sons, Owen and Dane and enjoys spending time with his family and friends, being outside, and, of course, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.chedge@sburg.org

Mrs. Stephanie Leap
Mrs. Leap has been teaching seventh grade Social Studies at Stroudsburg since 2001. She is originally from the Philadelphia area, where much of her family still resides. She has both her B.A and M. Ed. from Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA. Her husband, Jason is also a History teacher and they have one daughter, Emma, and a son, Wesley. Mrs. Miklas graduated from Lock Haven University in May of 2005 with a BS in Elementary Education and a Middle School Mathematics Certificate. Mrs. Tara Morgan
Mrs. Morgan began her teaching career in September of 2002 as a 7th grade Social Studies teacher in NYC. She received her Masters Degree in Literacy Education in May of 2005. Mrs. Tara Rivera
Mrs. Rivera has worked for the SASD since 1998. She has a BS in Secondary Education with a concentration in Social Studies from Penn State University. She also has a MS in Curriculum and Developmental Instruction from Wilkes University. She taught Ancient World History, Modern World History, World Geography, and AP European History at the Stroudsburg High School. Mrs. Janet Robison
Mrs. Robison moved here from Spring City, PA and started teaching at Stroudsburg School District in 1985. She has always taught 7th grade Science while in this district and the curriculum has changed many times while she's been here. She's taught some Life Science, Earth Science, basic chemistry and Physical Science. Her family includes her husband who teaches at the Junior High, her daughter and her son. They also have a black Labrador retriever and a cat. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, hiking, bicycling, cooking and in the winter, cross country skiing. In the summer, she often take courses to further her own education and she and her family like to travel as well. Their best trip so far was to France.
Mrs. Laurie Rodas
Mrs. Rodas attended Clearview Elementary School and graduated from Stroudsburg High School. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from East Stroudsburg University. She earned her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Queen’s College, NY. Mrs. Rodas possesses certification in Middle School Mathematics and teaches seventh grade math and pre-algebra. Mrs. Jennifer Tanczos
Mrs. Tanczos began her teaching career in 2001. She taught eighth grade at a school in Bethlehem for four years. In 2005, she joined Stroudsburg Area School District and began teaching seventh grade Language Arts at the middle school. Mrs. Tanczos earned her Bachelors degree from Shippensburg University in 2001 and her Masters degree in Curriculum Instruction and Design from the University of Scranton in 2006.

Mrs. Patti Walton
Mrs. Walton has been teaching in the Stroudsburg Area School District since 1980. She is currently teaching 7th grade Life Science as well as teaching math in the After School and Summer Academy programs. She was an AFG internal coordinator for three years and a member of the Student Assistance Program for 10 years. In addition, she has coached the Stroudsburg Junior High Science Olympiad Team since 1996. The team has won numerous Regional, State and National awards.pwalton@sburg.org
Mrs. RoseMarie Zito
Mrs. Zito has been an educator since 1991. She began her teaching career at PS 203 in Brooklyn, New York teaching 2nd grade. After moving to the Poconos with her husband John in 1996, she began working for the SASD as a homebound instructor which she still continues. She has a B.A. and M.S. in Education from Brooklyn College and a M.E. in Reading from East Stroudsburg University. She was formerly an English teacher as SHS and is currently teaching 7th grade reading, after completing her Reading Specialist Certification, at the MS. She has three children, whom she adores, and is an avid reader (naturally). She loves teaching reading and she loves her students as well.rzito@sburg.org
