Reading Specialists

Reading support services are available for students who qualify.  Reading Specialists provide specially designed instruction and interventions to students in small groups as well as in co-taught classroom settings.  Reading Specialists at the Middle School include Maryanne Constable, Erin Hiscott, Joelle Fair and RoseMarie Zito.

Ms. Erin Bolton

Mrs. Hiscott began working for the Stroudsburg Area School District in 2004.  She earned he BS from Bloomsburg University and her MA from East Stroudsburg University.  Mrs. Hiscott is a reading specialist for grades 6 and 7 and a gifted reading teacher for grade 5.  She is married with two children.  Mrs. Hiscott enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, reading, and going to the beach.  

Mrs. Joelle Fair

Mrs. Fair began working for the Stroudsburg Area School District in the 1996-1997 school year. Fair received her BS and MA from East Stroudsburg University. She currently serves as a 5th grade Reading Specialist and Wilson Instructor. She is married and enjoys spending time with her three teenage boys. Her hobbies include, training for marathons and triathlons, crossfit and loves going to the beach.

Mrs. Mary Anne Constable

Mrs. Constable graduated from Mansfield University with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education (English) and East Stroudsburg University with a Master's Degree in Reading Education. She currently teaches 6th and 7th grade Gifted Reading and also co-teaches in 5th and 7th grade. Mrs. Constable and her family enjoy attending Penn State football games, traveling, and hiking.
