About Ms. Owens

Ms. Owens began her administrative career at Stroudsburg Area School District in 2005 as an Assistant Principal at SJHS.  She took the helm at the Middle School in 2007.  Before that Ms. Owens was an administrator at East Stroudsburg North HS and Lehman Intermediate.  Her teaching career began at JTL in 1998, where she taught Middle School Science.  She is also one of the few administrators who began their career as a school bus driver back in the early 90's.

She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from East Stroudsburg University and pursued her Master’s of Educational Leadership degree at Wilkes University.

Ms. Owens resides in Tannersville and has three daughters, Kelly, Lauren, and Ally. She enjoys the outdoors, travel, boating, and her golden retriever.
