7th Grade Walking Club Rewarded with Subway Lunch

A walking club was offered during the 7th grade Wellness period this school year. The club walked an average of ½ a mile, approximately 3 days a week.  Some students chose to participate almost every day it was offered. 
That means that they walked approximately 50 miles this school year!

In celebration of this accomplishment, a Subway luncheon will be held on May 20 during Wellness and After Wellness Period. The rain date will be June 3. With parental permission, the students will walk to the JHS and back, 1 mile, then meet at the field for a picnic during After Wellness. The cost is $5 for a Subway foot long sandwich.  If you would like to send in anything else for the picnic, please have your child drop it off in A511 on the morning of the event.
