Health and Physical Education

Health and Physical Education in the Stroudsburg Middle School is a vital and integral part of the total education program. It provides the physical activity and developmental learning experiences for growth and maturation. Our diverse classes facilitate the development and maintenance of physical fitness for a lifetime, therefore increasing the quality of life. Students are encouraged to exhibit honesty, integrity, and good sportsmanship, while working in cooperative and competitive situations. Our team believes in teaching the whole student and we make a point of creating maximum opportunities for all students to feel successful and confident while having fun. The physical, mental, emotional, and social benefits provided through our Health and Physical Education program contribute to a sense of well being and support academic progress.
