Mrs. Romano is a graduate of the College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ where she earned a BA in Elementary Education and Psychology. Mrs. Romano also possesses a Masters Degree from the University of Scranton in Educational Administration. Mrs. Romano holds a PA Instructional II certification and PA Principal K-12 certification.


Mrs. Romano began her educational career teaching fourth grade in New Jersey and after moving to Pennsylvania, has taught varying subjects and grade levels through eighth grade. Mrs. Romano was the Principal of Msgr. McHugh School in Cresco for four years. Mrs. Romano joined Stroudsburg School District in 2015 as an Assistant Principal.


Mrs. Romano lives in Stroudsburg with her husband Henry and their three furry children: Lucy, a labradoodle; Jack, a chinese crested and Jill a pomapoo.

Mr. Larthey graduated from Lebanon Valley College where he received his B.S. in Physics and his Secondary Teaching certification.  He began his teaching career in 2000 at Pocono Mountain School District as a high school Physics teacher.  Mr. Larthey was involved with after school activities and coached both Wrestling and Soccer.  In December 2007, Mr. Larthey received his master's degree in Educational Leadership and Principal's Certificate from Wilkes University.  Mr. Larthey is currently an Assistant Principal at Stroudsburg Middle School. 

Mr. Larthey is married, has two children and multiple pets.  He enjoys spending time with his family and friends.  He is a huge Eagles fan and enjoys spending his time outdoors.

Mr. Larthey is striving to be a positive influence here at Stroudsburg Middle School.
