Art

The purpose of the Stroudsburg Middle School art program is to provide a variety of instructional experiences that preserve, nurture and cultivate each child's divergent and creative thought processes.  This will allow students to interpret the world around them while acquiring and refining skills that will promote articulation of individual expression and aesthetic awareness.

Mrs. Cheryl Vlahakis

Mrs. Vlahakis has been teaching art in the Stroudsburg Area School District for six years. She taught 2 years at the Junior High level and now teaches grades 5, 6 and 7 at the Middle School.  She attended Kutztown University of PA for her Bachelors of Science in Art Education.
